Job summary

Cognizant Technology Solutions Sweden AB in Stockholm is seeking a Senior Associate, Projects to translate complex business requirements into data-driven insights. You will join our Analytics and Insights delivery team, collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams across the full project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, including requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management.
• Excellent client-facing communication skills and ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report/dashboard development.
• Demonstrated experience across multiple SDLC phases, ideally in a delivery/project-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate workshops to elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across all levels.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Power BI to deliver actionable insights.
• Serve as a client-facing point of contact, managing expectations and building long-term relationships with stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor the team end-to-end across SDLC phases, ensuring quality delivery from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
• Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders by translating data findings into clear narratives.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Associate, Projects, you will make an impact by translating complex business requirements into powerful data-driven solutions that help clients make smarter, faster decisions. You will be a valued member of our Analytics and Insights delivery team, working collaboratively with clients, business stakeholders, and cross-functional delivery teams to drive meaningful outcomes across the full project lifecycle.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Lead and facilitate workshops to elicit, document, and validate business requirements from stakeholders across all levels of the organization
• Design, develop, and implement advanced reports, dashboards, and interactive visualizations using Microsoft Power BI, transforming raw data into clear, actionable insights
• Serve as a key client-facing point of contact, attending meetings, managing expectations, and building trusted long-term relationships with client stakeholders
• Guide and mentor your team end-to-end across all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, ensuring quality delivery from requirements gathering through to deployment and support
• Bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders by translating complex data findings into clear, business-relevant narratives

Needed Skills

• Proven experience in Business Analysis, including requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and stakeholder management
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and report and dashboard development
• Demonstrated experience working across multiple phases of the SDLC, ideally in a delivery or project-based environment
• Excellent client-facing communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical audiences
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field

THESE WILL HELP YOU STAND OUT

• Experience with additional BI or data visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Azure Synapse Analytics
• Familiarity with Agile and/or Scrum delivery methodologies
• Exposure to cloud data platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP and their integration with Power BI
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, or data governance
• Prior experience in a team lead or mentoring capacity within a project delivery environment
