Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in software, systems architecture, AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of software and systems architecture experience leading complex platforms.
• 5+ years of AI or machine learning deployment, integration, and production readiness.
• Strong judgment in design, trade-offs, secure development, and long-term ownership.
• Curiosity about AI trends including LLMOps, governance, observability and secure deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-enabled solutions from architecture to integration, deployment and operation.
• Design foundations for production AI, including platform choices, CI/CD and observability.
• Set direction for engineering practices, architecture decisions and technical quality.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, translating needs into secure, scalable solutions.
• Mentor colleagues and elevate the technical maturity of the AI and software community.
• Contribute to internal initiatives to shape reusable capabilities and offerings.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI‑enabled solutions from early architecture and requirements to integration, deployment, and long‑term operation.
• Design technical foundations for production AI, including platform choices, CI/CD, MLOps/LLMOps, observability, governance, and security.
• Set direction for engineering practices, architecture decisions, documentation, and technical quality.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, translating complex needs into secure, scalable, and valuable solutions.
• Mentor colleagues and help elevate the technical maturity of our growing AI and software engineering community.
• Contribute to internal initiatives where your architecture experience can shape reusable capabilities, offerings, and ways of working.

Qualifications

• Relevant university degree or equivalent senior professional experience in software, systems architecture, AI, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 9+ years of software and systems architecture experience, with a proven ability to design and lead complex technical platforms.
• Ideally 5+ years of professional experience with AI or machine learning solutions, focusing on deployment, integration, production readiness, and the practical realities of bringing AI into existing software environments.
• Strong judgement in systems design, trade‑off analysis, platform selection, secure development, scalability, integration, maintainability, and long‑term technical ownership.
• Genuine curiosity about where AI technology is heading, including agentic systems, MCP‑based integrations, LLMOps, retrieval‑augmented generation, AI governance, observability, and secure deployment patterns.
• Experience acting as technical lead, architect, or senior advisor in customer‑facing or internal development initiatives.
• Collaborative leadership style with the ability to build networks, share knowledge, identify opportunities, and support others.

Security Clearance

As this position involves work subject to defence secrecy, you will be required to undergo and pass a security clearance, including a background check.
