Mimer AI Factory (https://mimer-ai.eu/) aims to advance innovation, accelerate the adoption of AI, and position Europe as a global leader in AI. We provide access to AI-optimized supercomputers and services such as training and support for SMEs, startups, researchers, and government agencies.

You will primarily work in the Scientific Services Group at KCSC (formerly PDC). Your responsibilities include facilitating, developing, and strengthening national AI/ML user support, collaborating with staff at KTH, RISE, and NAISS partner universities, and participating in research activities within the NAISS infrastructure to advance AI/ML capabilities in Sweden.

Qualifications

Requirements

• A doctoral degree or an equivalent foreign degree in a relevant discipline with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
• Several years of professional experience in AI/ML, with a focus on autonomous systems.
• Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to effectively communicate and promote the activities of the organization.
• Knowledge of diversity and equal treatment issues, with a particular focus on gender equality, is expected.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, as it is required in day to day work.

Personal skills

• Initiative, responsibility, and collaboration skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team is required.

Preferred qualifications

• Broad knowledge of various programming languages commonly used in AI and ML applications.
• In-depth expertise in AI/ML for autonomous systems, including sensing, perception, planning, and control in dynamic environments.

About the employment

The employment is valid until further notice (permanent post) according to agreement. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period. It may be the case that a position at KTH is classified as a security-sensitive role in accordance with the Protective Security Act (2018:585).
