Job summary

Karolinska Institutet seeks a Research Assistant to support epidemiology of dementia and cardiometabolic disease using large population datasets. You will contribute to data analysis, interpretation, and manuscript preparation in a multidisciplinary setting at ARC.

Ideal candidates hold a master’s in epidemiology or public health, with strong English, teamwork, and programming skills, plus interest in brain health and aging research.

Qualifications

• Hold a master’s degree in epidemiology, public health, or a related topic before application deadline.
• Previous research experience related to epidemiology.
• Experience related to dementia and/or brain and cognitive health.
• Strong analytical/programming skills with large datasets.
• Excellent oral and written English skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Experience with cardiometabolic health is advantageous.
• Experience with manuscript publication is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support data analysis and interpretation of results.
• Contribute to preparation of manuscripts for publication.
• Engage in projects on cardiometabolic risk factors for dementia.
