Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Back End Developers to design, build, and optimize server-side systems and APIs for AI-related products. This fully remote, hourly contract role in Sweden offers 10–40 hours per week and flexible scheduling.

You will work with Python, Go, Java, Node.js, or Rust, implement robust data pipelines, and collaborate across time zones to deliver scalable microservices and reliable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Proficient in back end languages (Python/Go/Java/Node.js/Rust) and RESTful API design.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Ability to work asynchronously in a remote, contract-based setting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust back end services, APIs, and data pipelines.
• Build scalable server-side architecture to support AI workloads and real-world traffic.
• Write clean, well-documented, and testable code following engineering best practices.
• Integrate with databases, queues, cloud services, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to architectural decisions.
