Proactively identify and flag financial risks to the Regional Accounting Service Manager and local Finance Directors/Business Partners.
Statutory Compliance, Financial Statements & Audit
Ensure strict adherence to local statutory legislation, tax regulations, and Group Accounting Practice (HBII).
Own the preparation, reconciliation, and submission of corporate tax returns, VAT filings, and transfer pricing documentation.
Take primary ownership of half-year and year-end statutory financial statements, annual reports, and group reporting packages (including Letter of Verification and NFS).
Serve as the main point of contact for external and internal auditors, managing requests, reconciliations, and audit query resolution.
Shared Service Center (KGS) Liaison & Process Excellence
Act as the direct operational bridge between regional finance and the Global Shared Service Center (KGS).
Oversee service delivery and work quality for outsourced processes, supporting escalation flows and cross-functional alignment.
Establish, document, and enforce standard local accounting principles and internal financial controls.
Continuously identify opportunities for system optimization and process automation, leveraging approved digital and AI-driven tools to enhance accounting quality and efficiency.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or an equivalent academic qualification.
Progressive experience within general ledger accounting, financial reporting, or a senior accounting role.
Solid, hands-on experience with SAP system and advanced knowledge of general ledger functions.
High numeracy and analytical skillset with proven ability to reconcile and evaluate large volumes of financial data.
High attention to detail, structured work habits, discreet handling of confidential data, and a commitment to meeting strict reporting deadlines.
Professional working proficiency in both English and Swedish (written and spoken), with strong cross-cultural collaboration skills.
Flexibility and dedicated availability during critical year-end closing and external audit cycles.
Joining our team means stepping into an international, collaborative work culture grounded in mutual respect, accountability, and continuous innovation. In this role, you will experience genuine ownership and high visibility across multiple national entities and group functions, working with modern tools and forward-thinking processes that actively embrace digital transformation and professional development. Alongside an engaging and supportive environment, we offer a competitive compensation and benefits package aligned with Swedish market standards.
