Job summary

Keysight seeks an exceptional RAN-focused wireless software engineer with deep 3GPP expertise to architect and advance test, emulation, and validation solutions powering wireless innovation.

You will translate specs into robust software, drive Open RAN initiatives, and collaborate across systems, RF, and product teams to validate conformance, interoperability, and performance across the RAN lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Strong, hands-on expertise in 3GPP LTE/NR with a clear RAN focus.
• Proven track record of professional software engineering excellence (typically 8+ years).
• Strong coding skills in C/C++ (and/or Python for automation) and Linux familiarity.
• Proven ability to debug distributed/real-time systems using logs, traces, KPIs.
• Exceptional technical communication in English, translating specs into implementable requirements.
• Experience with Open RAN architecture/interfaces and multi-vendor integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD, test frameworks, containers, and cloud deployment environments.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver software for 3GPP LTE/NR with RAN focus.
• Translate evolving requirements into robust designs, test workflows, and reusable components.
• Lead automation and tooling for protocol conformance, interoperability, and performance validation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reproduce field issues and find root causes.
• Produce design docs, test plans, and technical notes for industry review.
• Support evolution of next-gen RAN architectures including Open RAN interfaces.
