Job summary

Hitachi Energy Sweden AB in Vaesteras is seeking a Business R&D Team Leader to enhance their Control & Protection Design Organization. You will lead a team in delivering innovative engineering solutions that are sustainable and reliable.

This role combines technical leadership and people management with responsibilities spanning the entire R&D lifecycle from concept to implementation. Ideal candidates will have a Master's degree in Engineering and significant R&D experience.

Qualifications

• 8-10+ years of experience in R&D, product development, or innovation.
• Proven experience in a leadership role, combining people management and technical responsibility.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of HW & SW engineers and consultants within Business R&D.
• Take ownership of technical design, quality, and long-term sustainability of products.
• Drive R&D strategies aligned with business objectives.
