Job summary

Epishine, a Swedish energy impact company in Linköping, seeks an analytical, hands-on R&D Engineer to work in our lab, fabricate, test and evaluate printed organic solar cells. You will plan and execute experiments, analyze results, and contribute to improving our device performance in an international team.

You will start by learning materials, processes and device architecture, then gradually take ownership of experiments from planning to interpretation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
• Relevant work experience in a similar role.
• Hands-on laboratory experience and interest in experimental work, materials, and device characterization.
• Strong communication skills and fluency in English.
• PhD in related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute experiments in the lab to test printed organic solar cells.
• Characterize device performance and investigate failure modes.
• Generate high-quality experimental data to advance understanding of the technology.
• Support experimental work and take increasing ownership of experiments from planning to analysis.
