Job summary

Senior Material Europe seeks a Quality Engineer to ensure processes meet top industry standards and to drive the development of high-quality solutions. You will coordinate with customers, suppliers, and quality experts, reporting to the Quality Manager.

Your role includes leading audits, driving corrective actions, improving the Quality Management System, and training staff while coordinating with stakeholders to maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Material Europe's primary contact with external stakeholders, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Since 2021 we established the headquarters in Europe, here in Eskilstuna, Sweden. We maintain one of Europe’s most modern production plants that will play a significant role in the green transition for electric vehicles. Our core activity is to make lithium‑ion batteries safe by creating a separator film through an advanced production process. The quality department plays an important role in this process.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Quality Engineer at Senior Material, you will ensure our processes meet the highest industry standards and contribute to the development of new, high‑quality solutions. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders such as customers, suppliers and quality experts.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, your key responsibilities include acting as the main point of contact for quality‑related inquiries from customers and suppliers, joining and leading internal and external audits, implementing corrective actions, leading improvement projects to enhance the Quality Management System, conducting internal training, and coordinating stakeholder‑assigned improvements.

In summary, you will be Senior Material’s primary contact channel with external stakeholders, ensuring our adherence to regulatory and statutory requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

• Fluent in English
• Understanding of manufacturing or production processes
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Strong data analysis and pattern recognition skills

Soft Skills

• Structured, communicative, curious, independent, and reliable.

Plus / Desirable

• Familiar with ISO 9001 / ISO 14001, audits, or quality tools (5 Why, Fishbone, 8D, FMEA).
• Experience in manufacturing or international environments is a plus.
