Job summary

Vestas-Northern-Europe-Ab is seeking a Non-Conformity (Quality) Coordinator to support onshore CPX NC management. You will help coordinate non-conformities across Europe, manage materials and stakeholder actions, and ensure data integrity in SAP throughout the NC lifecycle.

The role emphasizes collaboration with internal teams, suppliers, and site operations to maintain quality standards and enable timely project handover while controlling NC-related costs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent); recent graduates encouraged to apply.
  • Fluent in English; German skills are beneficial.
  • Experience or exposure to quality control in wind projects is nice to have.
  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or similar systems is a plus.
  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge is beneficial; strong data reporting skills with Excel/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with global and local processes, standards, and instructions.
  • Manage end-to-end non-conformity lifecycle in SAP with accurate documentation.
  • Maintain documentation to enable NC handling and cost recovery.
  • Coordinate material handling, orders, and logistics for spare parts and repairs.
  • Monitor deliveries, repairs, and on-site execution to ensure timely resolution.
  • Track NC-related costs through financial closure and collaborate with teams to resolve NCs.

As a Non-Conformity (Quality) Coordinator, you will gain practical experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, and quality processes—while contributing to the efficient installation and commissioning of wind turbines across Europe.

Onshore Customer Project Execution (CPX) Non-Conformity Management

Our team is responsible for ensuring the successful installation, commissioning, and handover of wind turbines to our customers—delivered on time and in line with agreed quality standards.

A key part of our work involves managing non-conformities (NCs) that may arise during construction and installation. We proactively coordinate the necessary materials, technical expertise, and stakeholder actions required to resolve issues efficiently and minimize project risks.

We operate in a highly collaborative environment, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and site operations to:

  • Maintain high-quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Ensure smooth execution and timely project delivery
  • Effectively manage and control non-conformity-related costs

Our overall objective is to support a successful and profitable project handover, balancing operational excellence with strong financial performance.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with global and local processes, standards, and instructions
  • Manage the end-to-end non-conformity (NC) lifecycle in SAP, ensuring accurate documentation and data consistency
  • Maintain complete documentation to enable effective NC handling and cost recovery
  • Coordinate material handling, including ordering and logistics for spare parts and repair solutions Monitor and follow up on deliveries, repairs, and on-site execution to ensure timely resolution
  • Track, manage, and ensure accurate booking of NC-related costs through to financial closure
  • Collaborate with Project Management and Customer Project Execution teams to prioritize and resolve NCs efficiently
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), with recent graduates encouraged to apply
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken); German language skills (beneficial)
  • Experience or exposure to quality control and/or the wind industry (nice to have)
  • Familiarity with SAP, Power BI, or similar systems (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies and quality tools (beneficial)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting
