Job summary

Confidential Employer is seeking an experienced Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable Azure-based systems in Sweden. You will lead automation, CI/CD, and cloud architecture across teams, delivering robust, compliant infrastructure.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in Azure-centric DevOps, strong scripting, IaC skills, and collaboration with product and security teams. CET timezone alignment is required; remote possibilities may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable Azure infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using ARM, Terraform, and scripting languages to automate provisioning and configuration.
• Establish and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and other tools to automate deployments.
• Implement and manage containerised applications using AKS; orchestrate containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Apply IaC principles to define and manage infrastructure resources.
• Set up monitoring and logging with Azure Monitor and Log Analytics for health/performance.
• Implement security measures for Azure resources to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to implement cloud solutions.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and resilience of Azure-based systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimise Azure resources.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure and deployments.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure.

• In-depth knowledge of Azure services and architecture, including Azure VMs, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and more.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.

• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS).
