KeyPlants is seeking a Project Procurement Manager with category management responsibility to grow within Project Procurement. Based in Stockholm with a hybrid work model, you will lead strategic sourcing efforts and collaborate across project teams to optimize cost, quality, and schedule.

You will drive supplier market analysis, develop category strategies, and ensure ERP accuracy while delivering data-driven reports and maintaining compliance with sustainability standards.

Qualifications

  • This role requires strong strategic procurement experience and category management.
  • Commercial negotiation experience is essential.
  • Fluency in Swedish and English is required.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives (RFx, negotiations, contract awards) independently to optimize cost and value.
  • Drive strategic sourcing, supplier market analysis, and category strategy development.
  • Collaborate with project teams to optimize cost, quality, and schedule outcomes.
  • Analyze spend, market trends, and project synergies to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Define and manage project scope and ensure POs are placed correctly in ERP (e.g., D365).
  • Prepare decision documents and develop reports in D365 and Power BI.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards while developing long-term supplier/cost structures.

KeyPlants is growing fast! We are in an expansive phase and are now looking for a Project Procurement Manager with Category Management responsibility who is eager to develop and grow within Project Procurement.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives (RFx, negotiations, contract awards) independently to optimize cost and value
  • Drive strategic sourcing, supplier market analysis, and category strategy development for assigned spend areas
  • Collaborate with project teams in projects to optimize cost, quality, and schedule outcomes
  • Analyse spend, market trends, and project synergies to identify savings opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Define and manage project scope in line with procurement and category strategies and ensure POs are placed correctly in ERP (e.g. D365) for assigned projects
  • Prepare decision making documents and project documents for procurement projects and develop reports in D365 and Power BI
  • Ensure supplier compliance with quality, safety, and sustainability standards while supporting long term supplier and cost structure development.

To Succeed In This Role
  • Strong experience in strategic procurement (5+ years), including category management and commercial negotiation
  • Strategic, analytical, and data-driven mindset with strong execution capability
  • Experience in supply chain management or a related academic background
  • Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills with fluency in Swedish and English
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) and relevant procurement/technical systems
  • Experience in procurement within contractual forms (NL 17, NLM 19, ABA 99, AB04, ABT06, Orgalim) is an advantage

Location

This role is based in Stockholm, hybrid model, minimum 3 days/week in the office, some travel may be required.
