Job summary

Requtech AB in Linköping is seeking a Project Manager to lead delivery of complex SATCOM programs from kickoff through production, certification, and handover. You will own scope, schedule, and budget, and connect engineering, production, sales and customers across government, defense and commercial sectors.

The role requires eight plus years in SATCOM project management, a strong technical grasp of terminals, antennas and networks, and the ability to travel internationally.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in project management within SATCOM, aerospace, or communications.
• Proven track record delivering complex technical programs on schedule and budget.
• Strong technical understanding of SATCOM systems (terminals, antennas, modems, LEO/MEO/GEO networks).
• Experience working with military/government customers is a strong plus.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Ability to travel internationally.

About the Role

Requtech is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex programs,from contract kickoff through production, certification, and customer handover. You'll own project scope, schedule, and budget, and act as the operational backbone connecting engineering, production, sales, and our customers across commercial, government, and defense sectors.

Responsibilities

Project Delivery

• Own end-to-end delivery of SATCOM terminal projects: scope, schedule, budget, and risk


• Build and maintain project plans across engineering, production, and certification workstreams


• Track milestones and KPIs, and proactively resolve schedule or resource conflicts


• Manage project risk, including technical, supply chain, and compliance risk

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of coordination between engineering, production, sales, and quality


• Translate customer and contractual requirements into actionable project plans in partnership with engineering


• Coordinate certification and qualification efforts with satellite operators


• Act as the technical-commercial point of contact for customers during active projects


• Support contract execution, RFI/RFP delivery commitments, and program requirements


• Represent Requtech in customer project reviews, demonstrations, and milestone meetings

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience in project management within SATCOM, aerospace, or communications


• Proven track record delivering complex technical programs on schedule and budget


• Strong technical understanding of SATCOM systems (terminals, antennas, modems, LEO/MEO/GEO networks)


• Experience working with military and government customers or programs (e.g., NATO, MODs, or government communications programs) is a strong plus


• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is a plus


• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both technical and commercial


• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field


• Ability to travel internationally as required
