Job summary

Siemens Energy AB in Finspång is seeking a Senior Professional Project Inspector to ensure products and systems meet the highest quality standards. You will conduct inspections at project stages, document non-conformities, and witness FAT and SAT to guarantee equipment integrity.

You will develop tailored Inspection and Test Plans in collaboration with project management and engineering teams, and manage comprehensive quality documentation while coordinating with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field (Mechanical/Industrial/Quality).
• 3–5 years in product quality control, inspection, or QA, preferably in energy or heavy manufacturing.
• CQE and Six Sigma Green Belt certifications are preferred.
• Strong quality management foundation, documentation, and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with SAP and managing quality processes with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of products, components, and systems to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and defects following established QC procedures.
• Witness and verify FAT and SAT to ensure equipment meets quality criteria before handover.
• Develop and implement project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) with PM and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to resolve quality issues and align on deliverables.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Conduct thorough inspections of products, components, and systems to ensure compliance with technical specifications and corporate standards.
• Identify, document, and report non-conformities and defects, utilizing established quality control procedures.
• Witness and verify factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site acceptance tests (SAT) to ensure all equipment meets quality criteria before handover.
• Develop and implement project-specific Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) in collaboration with project management and engineering teams.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to resolve complex quality issues and ensure alignment on standards and deliverables.

What You Bring

• A degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in product quality control, inspection, or quality assurance, preferably in the energy, power generation, or heavy manufacturing industry.
• Certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and Six Sigma Green Belt.
• A strong foundation in quality management, product inspection, and technical documentation, with proven analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP applications and experience in managing quality processes with limited supervision.
