Qualifications

• Engineering degree or related field required.
• Experience from manufacturing environments.
• Experience with databases, SQL, ERP (e.g. SAP), and programming.
• Strong data analytics and visualization skills (Power BI, Fabric, Databricks).
• Ability to manage projects and drive improvements independently.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
• Collaborative and inclusive mindset with diverse teams.
• Fluent in Swedish and English.

Responsibilities

• Drive digitalization and automation within production and logistics.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
• Collect, analyze and visualize data to identify opportunities and enable data-driven decisions.
• Drive AI adoption across factory operations to improve performance.
• Support integration between production systems, ERP, and other digital platforms.
• Lead or contribute to MES, WMS, Industry 4.0 projects and continuous improvement.
• Promote Lean ways of working and optimize processes.

As part of our growing Cooling Systems business in Landskrona, Hitachi Energy is looking for a Production Engineer with a focus on Digitalization to join our team. You will work in a global organization that develops and manufactures reliable water-cooling systems for critical applications. We value teamwork, diversity, continuous learning, and innova-tion.

Your Responsibilities

• Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within production and logistics to improve performance.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs to support data-driven decisions.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize data to identify improvement opportunities and enable fact-based decisions.
• Drive the adoption and utilization of AI across factory operations to improve performance.
• Support integration between production systems, ERP solutions, and other digital platforms.
• Lead or contribute to projects related to MES, WMS, Industry 4.0, and continuous improvement.
• Promote Lean ways of working and support process optimization across the organization.

Your Background

• Degree in Engineering or a related field, with experience from manufacturing or production environments.

• Ability to manage projects and drive improvements independently.
