Job summary

Plus1 in Stockholm is seeking a Product Manager to lead product and tech initiatives across the customer and business chain. You will work closely with the CEO and management, driving a full-stack, hands-on approach with prototypes and internal tools, shaping the roadmap and go-to-market efforts.

Ideal candidates bring 3–5 years in consumer credit or regulated financial services, plus comfort with Claude Code and a proactive, founder’s mentality.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in consumer credit, financial services, or other regulated business.
• Hands-on with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and comfortable coding alongside developers.
• Solid understanding of credit processes, risk management and consumer credit regulation.

Responsibilities

• Drive priorities and roadmap across focus areas based on data and business impact.
• Build and ship hands-on with developers from prototype to production.
• Monitor funnel performance from first click to repayment and adjust as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (consumer credit regulation, CCD2, AML/KYC, GDPR) in collaboration with legal/compliance/credit.
• Manage external partners such as payment providers, brokers and credit bureaus.
• Align internal stakeholders across credit, customer service, finance, marketing and management.
• Contribute to launches in new markets from requirements to go-live.

The Role

We are looking for a Product Manager who doesn’t just set direction, but builds. You will join our product and tech team of 11 in Stockholm, report directly to the CEO and work closely with the management team.

We don’t split the product into silos with individual owners. We work full stack, all hands on deck, across the entire customer and business chain. Priorities are set together with management, with special focus on:

• Traffic generation

• Onboarding and conversion

• Retention and dunning

• The credit granting process

• Market expansion

• Internal systems used by our advisors and customer service agents

We build a lot ourselves with Claude Code. As a PM you won’t just write requirements and manage the backlog. You will pair with our developers, build prototypes, internal tools and analyses yourself, and improve how we work every day.

Your mission includes:

• Driving priorities and roadmap across our focus areas, based on data, customer insight and business impact.

• Building and shipping hands-on together with the developers, from prototype to production.

• Monitoring performance across the funnel, from first click to repayment, and acting quickly when something needs adjusting.

• Making sure everything we build meets regulatory requirements, including consumer credit regulation, CCD2, AML/KYC and GDPR, in close collaboration with legal, compliance and credit.

• Managing external partners such as payment providers, brokers and credit bureaus.

• Aligning internal stakeholders across credit, customer service, finance, marketing and management.

• Contributing to launches in new markets, from requirements and partner setup to go-live.

Who You Are

We are looking for a “Founder’s Mentality.” You are analytical, results-driven and thrive in an environment where things move fast. You don’t wait for a to-do list, you see what needs to be done and you drive it to completion, often by building it yourself.

• 3-5 years of experience in consumer credit, financial services or another regulated business, ideally as a product manager, product owner or in business development.

• Hands-on with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, and comfortable working in a codebase alongside developers.

• A solid understanding of credit processes, risk management and consumer credit regulation.

• Experience managing both internal and external stakeholders.

• The drive to work independently, while loving being part of a team where everyone supports each other.

• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
