Job summary

Lovable is building a software creation platform from Stockholm, with teams in London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. We’re looking for a product-minded data scientist who owns a product area’s outcomes, finds opportunities, and ships bets supported by measurement and experimentation.

You’ll design instrumentation, surface insights, and ensure data quality, working closely with product and engineering to move activation, engagement, and retention.

Qualifications

• Proven experience using SQL and Python for data-driven product decisions.
• Strong statistics background and ability to run experiments (A/B tests).
• Deep understanding of activation, engagement, and retention metrics.
• Entrepreneurial and autonomous; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Experience building instrumentation and data pipelines.
• Collaborates with product and engineering to ship bets.

Responsibilities

• Own metrics and funnels for a product area, driving activation, engagement and retention.
• Turn user behavior insights into product bets and ship them with PMs and engineers.
• Design and run experiments; act on results.
• Build instrumentation, semantic models, and data agents for the team.
• Maintain data quality, definitions, and lineage.
