Job summary

AKJ Energiteknik söker en processingenjör som kommer att arbeta med process-tekniska beräkningar, simuleringar och utveckling av flödesscheman samt listor.

Du kommer även att ta fram tekniska specifikationer, funktionella och processbeskrivningar för utrustning och systemlösningar. Rollen kräver minst 2 års erfarenhet och en universitetsutbildning i Environmental and Energy Engineering eller motsvarande.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Process Engineer.
• University degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of Excel and numbering systems (KKS/SSG).
• Experience with material selection is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform process-technical calculations and simulations.

About the company
AKJ Energiteknik is active in the district heating and power energy industry. We help our customers with projects when there is an energy need or conversion to green energy of new plants or upgrades / remodeling / service of existing plants. We have a large range of fossil-free biofuels and are constantly working on new green energy sources to help society with the fossil transition.

Our customers are located all over Sweden and the Nordic region. The customers are largely in district heating, the sawmill industry, the food industry and in our projects, power energy is becoming increasingly common.

AKJ Energiteknik AB was founded in 1959 and still serves energy plants from the original customers but builds 10-20 new plants for existing and new customers every year, which constantly expands AKJ’s customer base. When the customer needs to convert their energy production from fossil fuels to green energy, AKJ Energiteknik is their partner.

AKJ can, if the customer wishes, handle the entire design within all departments of a plant and with a broad responsibility, the entire design is handled by AKJ’s own team. About the position
In the role of Process Engineer at AKJ Energiteknik, you will work with process-technical calculations, simulations, development of flow charts and lists. You will also develop technical specifications, functional and process descriptions for equipment and system solutions.

The role includes both technical and administrative tasks, you see the variety as a natural part of your daily work. To succeed in the role, we see that you have previous work experience as a Process Engineer for 2 years or more. You have a university degree in Environmental and Energy Engineering or equivalent Process Education or other equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Excel, knowledge of numbering systems according to KKS or SSG, and if you have previously worked with material selection, it is seen as an advantage.

You will work together in a team with other Process Engineers where you have the opportunity to both learn from experienced colleagues and share your experiences.
