Interested candidates should apply before the closing date of August 1, 2026.Compulsory works for audition:John Williams: Concerto for Tuba, 1st Movement (Bar 1-29)Blazevich: Solo etudeOrchestral excerpts and ensembleAfter reviewing the applications, a pre-selection might be necessary (a video recording and/or participation in a pre-round screening on November 1st). Candidates will be informed of what is required of them shortly after the application deadline. In the event a video is required, please prepare the following excerpts from the excerpt pdf:

• 8-Brahms
• 11-Gershwin
• 14-Stravinsky
• 15-Prokofiev
• 17-Mahler
• 19-Wagner

The video shall be recorded in one take without edits.This is a full-time permanent contract for this position. Principal Tuba has an obligation to play Cimbasso when needed but not for the audition.
