Job description

Associate Professor Marcus Järås’ research group at the Division of Clinical Genetics conducts translational research in immuno-oncology and is currently seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to strengthen the group. The successful candidate will primarily work on in vivo gene therapy projects involving CAR-macrophages as a novel treatment strategy for leukemia. The postdoctoral fellow will work in close collaboration with a biomedical scientist, an assistant researcher, and two PhD students. In addition, the postdoctoral fellow will be part of the Division of Clinical Genetics, which comprises ten research groups, as well as the Lund Stem Cell Center. Responsibilities

You will have primary responsibility for the development and evaluation of an in vivo gene therapy approach based on CAR-macrophages. The work will include DNA cloning, functional in vitro assays, and studies using an AML PDX mouse model established within the research group.
