Qualifications

  • PhD in Solid Mechanics, Engineering Mechanics, or related field with some battery experience.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong computational and numerical modelling skills including finite element or multiphysics simulation.
  • Awareness of diversity and gender equality.

Responsibilities

  • Develop a micromechanical modelling framework for solid-state batteries.
  • Characterise interfaces, debonding, fracture and contact mechanics in cells.
  • Validate models against COMPEL experimental data.
  • Contribute to mechanical and structural characterization of materials and cells.

Skills

Doctoral degree in Solid Mechanics or related
