Job summary

Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm seeks a driven postdoctoral fellow to perform comparative CNS repair studies using spatial genomics and in vivo perturbations to identify pro-regenerative strategies in the injured CNS. You will work in a vibrant, international environment within the Llorens Laboratory at KI Biomedicum.

Applicants should have a PhD and experience in glial biology, single-cell/spatial genomics, gene delivery or CNS injury models; excellent communication in English is essential.

Qualifications

  • PhD required or foreign degree equivalent to Swedish PhD.
  • Experience in glial biology, CNS injury models, or related fields is highly valued.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comparative CNS repair studies using spatial genomics and in vivo perturbations.
  • Identify pro-regenerative strategies in the injured CNS and contribute to publication-quality work.
