Job summary

Luleå University of Technology invites applications for a Postdoc in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence within the RAI group at the Department of Computer Science, Electrical and Space Engineering in Luleå.

The successful candidate will contribute to research on multi-modal data processing, traversability-aware path planning and semantic scene understanding, publishing in top journals and conferences while supervising PhD/MSc students and supporting project funding.

Qualifications

• PhD in Automatic control or electrical and electronics engineering or related subject.
• Strong mathematical background with proven advanced experimental capabilities and programming skills.
• Excellent English; ability to present and publish research internationally.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research with emphasis on robotics and AI, including experimental work and publications.
• Supervise PhD and MSc students and support grant applications.
• Contribute to teaching and collaboration within European and national projects.
