Job summary

Sever Pharma Solutions, a Malmö-based CDMO, seeks an experienced Senior Development Scientist / Principal Scientist to drive polymer-based formulation and aseptic fill/finish development from concept through scale‑up and tech transfer.

You will join a multidisciplinary Development Department reporting to the Director of Development, contributing to GMP and non‑GMP projects and advancing products toward commercial manufacturing readiness.

Qualifications

PhD with 8+ years industrial or post‑doctoral experience, or MSc with 10+ years relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in polymer processing and product/process development.
Proven ability to lead technical workstreams or teams and drive development progress.
Strong scientific documentation skills and clear communication of complex information.
Professional English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to formulation and process development for polymer-based pharmaceuticals and aseptic fill and finish products.
Develop, optimize, and transfer manufacturing processes from early development to commercial-scale readiness.
Apply scientific judgment to understand, evaluate, and solve complex technical challenges.
Drive technical maturity across product development phases with cross-functional teams.
Plan, execute, interpret, and document experimental work with high quality and compliance.
