Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Functional Consultant / Business Analyst to lead the Requirements Management layer for Polarion and Teamcenter within a large-scale PLM program. You will connect customer stakeholders, engineering, quality, product, compliance, IT, and offshore teams to define processes, configure solutions, and drive adoption.

You will elicit and prioritize requirements, plan discovery workshops, and translate needs into future-state processes and user stories while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience with requirements management from discovery to validation.
• Knowledge of Polarion ALM work items, LiveDocs, workflows, traceability, baselines, tests.
• Familiarity with Teamcenter product structures, workflows, change/configuration management, data models.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to align priorities, scope, and outcomes in a large PLM program.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Plan discovery workshops, process walkthroughs, and requirement reviews.
• Prioritize requirements for Polarion and Teamcenter to fit business processes and program goals.
• Translate needs into future-state processes, user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.
• Coordinate with offshore development to ensure delivered capabilities meet needs.
• Design Polarion structures for capture, hierarchy, workflows, baselines, and validation.
• Define integration requirements for Polarion and Teamcenter.
• Establish end-to-end traceability across levels from business to test.
• Lead UAT preparation, defect clarification, and training.
