Job summary

Viedoc, a Swedish medtech company delivering a clinical trials platform, is seeking a Platform Engineer to own the database infrastructure and evolve platform engineering practices. You will work with Azure, Terraform-like IaC, and CI/CD, shaping high-availability databases and secure pipelines.

You’ll collaborate across teams, support data engineering and analytics, and contribute to governance and security. The role is based in Uppsala with a hybrid work setup and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• proven DBA background with database infrastructure leadership
• hands-on experience with Redis or similar in-memory store
• scripting ability, preferably PowerShell
• strong teamwork and proactive learning mindset
• fluent English communication skills

Responsibilities

• Own and design database infrastructure for the product
• manage MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis availability and DR
• secure, audit-ready, and performant platform with developers
• provide infrastructure and pipelines for data warehouse teams
• build infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines
• contribute to Azure governance and landing zone architecture
• collaborate across platform teams (containers, networking, security)
