Job summary

Lund University’s Experimental Oncology group at the Division of Translational Cancer Research in Lund is offering a four-year, 100% full-time position. The project focuses on TGF-β superfamily biology and tumor immunity, using both in vitro and in vivo models to study ALK1 targeting and microenvironment interactions.

The successful candidate will join a team led by Professor Kristian Pietras, contributing to high-quality oncology research with opportunities for collaboration and career

Qualifications

• MSc in a relevant field or equivalent.
• Completed higher-education courses in oncology.
• Experience in oncology research with resulting publications.
• Experience with experimental animal models.
• Experience with multiplex immunohistochemistry.

Responsibilities

• Investigate transforming growth factor (TGF-β) signaling and its role in tumor biology.
• Study ALK1 expression in immunosuppressive macrophages and impact on immunotherapy.
• Use in vitro and in vivo models to explore tumor microenvironment interactions.
