Job summary

Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg seeks a Doctoral student to advance regenerative and circular industrial systems. You will define problems, develop methods, and contribute to research that connects eco-efficiency with circularity, shaping a sustainable future.

The position is fully funded for four years (with teaching up to 20%), and starts with a monthly salary of 35,725 SEK. You will collaborate with industry and academia and publish in international journals.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree (120 credits) in Industrial Ecology, Industrial Design Engineering, Production/Manufacturing Engineering, Environmental Engineering or equivalent.
  • Total of at least 240 higher education credits.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

  • Research and develop theories, methods, models, and tools for regenerative and circular industrial systems.
  • Collaborate with project partners across industry and academia in national and European projects.
  • Publish findings in international journals and conferences.
  • Take advanced courses within the Graduate School of Human-Technology-Design.
