Job summary
Uppsala University, Department of Materials Science and Engineering, invites applications for two research assistant positions within Åutomate. The roles are 20% time for 6 months starting September 2026, located in Uppsala.

Qualifications
- Enrollment in an undergraduate or advanced study programme, with a maximum of 50% of full-time work for the position.
- Good academic results from a master’s or civil engineering program and completion of at least three years of full-time study.
- Good results from advanced-level courses relevant to Åutomate.
- Experience in at least one of the listed areas (coding, data processing, electronics, design/fabrication, robotics).
- Very good English communication skills, both spoken and written.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to tasks in coding, data processing, electronics, design and fabrication, and robotics & automation.
- Work design/planning, implementation/fabrication, and testing of solutions under supervision.
- Document and report work clearly and timely.
