Unaro Nordic is seeking an experienced Packaging Specialist – Aerosol Packaging, Labels & Outer Packaging Systems to join our R&D team in Vallentuna, Sweden. You will lead aerosol packaging development, work across disciplines, and ensure safety, performance and cost effectiveness in packaging solutions.

Qualifications

• Analytical and solution-oriented packaging professional capable of cross-disciplinary work.
• Experience with aerosol systems and pressurized packaging.
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, regulations, compatibility and quality requirements.

Responsabilités

• Act as technical lead for aerosol packaging in development and industrialization projects, including requirements, guidelines and standards for aerosol, label and outer packaging systems.
• Serve as internal expert on pressurized systems, valve technology, spray performance, dispensing functionality and packaging platforms.
• Ensure robust packaging solutions by managing compatibility assessments and overseeing risk assessment, verification and validation activities.
• Support customer projects and sourcing decisions with technical recommendations, packaging specifications and supplier/technology evaluations.
• Monitor relevant packaging legislation, industry requirements and emerging trends in packaging and sustainable materials.
• Contribute to standardization, platform development and efficient ways of working across the organization.

We are now looking for an experienced and driven Packaging Specialist – Aerosol Packaging, Labels & Outer Packaging Systems to join our R&D team in Vallentuna, northern Stockholm.

Your responsibilities

As our Packaging Specialist Aerosol, you will serve as the technical lead for aerosol packaging systems and play a key role in developing robust, sustainable, and scalable packaging solutions. You will work cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Quality Assurance, Industrialization, Production and Procurement to ensure that our customers’ packaging solutions meet the demands of safety, performance, compliance and cost effectiveness.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Acting as technical lead for aerosol packaging in development and industrialization projects, including requirements, guidelines and standards for aerosol, label and outer packaging systems
• Serving as internal expert on pressurized systems, valve technology, spray performance, dispensing functionality and packaging platforms
• Ensuring robust packaging solutions by managing the compatibility assessment process and overseeing risk assessment, verification and validation activities
• Supporting customer projects and sourcing decisions with technical recommendations, packaging specifications and supplier or technology evaluations
• Monitoring relevant packaging legislation, industry requirements and emerging trends in packaging and sustainable materials

What we're looking for

You are an analytical and solution-oriented packaging professional who enjoys working across disciplines and turning ideas into robust solutions. With experience in packaging industry and a strong technical understanding of aerosol systems, you are comfortable taking ownership and contributing as a specialist in a dynamic R&D environment. Experience from cosmetic products, personal care, chemical-technical products or consumer goods industry is considered an advantage.

The position is a permanent full-time role based in Vallentuna, Stockholm, and reports to the Head of R&D. You will be part of a large, curious and highly experienced R&D team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related technical field
• Solid experience of aerosol and pressurized packaging systems
• Knowledge of packaging materials, packaging regulations, compatibility and quality requirements
