As our Optimisation Engineer at Ingrid, you’ll lead efforts in optimising battery storage to support the grid and transition to renewable energy. You’ll be key in improving our battery optimisation algorithms, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency. This role requires strong mathematical skills and a mix of optimisation techniques. The impact of your work on our revenue is substantial, with an annual output that continues to grow. You’ll collaborate across teams to incorporate diverse data into our models and translate insights into actions.

Ideally, you have experience from the energy sector, particularly battery storage or renewable energy systems, and experience in battery optimisation or hydro optimisation is, of course, very meritorious. You have a track record of innovation and a problem‑solving mindset, in complex, data‑driven projects.

For this role, we think you have an educational background in mathematics, engineering physics, data science, energy systems, computer science or similar.
