Job summary

Brickanta is building an agentic platform for construction. We seek a senior engineer to own the heart of our data model and the pipelines that turn diverse tender documents into versioned, provenance-traced objects.

You will shape permissions, tenant isolation, and the code structure that allows daily migrations and fast, verifiable deployments. You’ll work with TypeScript/Python, relational/reactive databases, and production-grade LLM features, ensuring shipping at agent speed while

Qualifications

• Designed and owned the data model of a product and evolved it through migrations and backfills.
• Built pipelines that turn messy, unstructured documents into structured data trusted by users.
• Strong in TypeScript and/or Python, with relational and reactive databases.
• Built LLM features in production: tool use, retrieval, structured output, evals.
• Ship with coding agents daily and verify their work without reading every line.
• Writes clearly; decisions and interfaces are documented.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own the ontology and the core objects: organisations and subsidiaries, projects, documents and versions, requirements, company facts, standards, bids and their answers, with provenance.
• Develop pipelines: parsing, extraction, entity resolution and backfills to transform raw documents into these objects and keep them in sync as models change.
• Manage permissions and tenant isolation across groups with many subsidiaries.
• Structure the codebase around the ontology: schema, migrations, and typed tools used by agents to read and write data.
• Enable rapid shipping at agent speed with automated checks and verifiable changes.
• Define rules and playbooks for the repository and how changes are reviewed.
