Job summary

A tech solutions provider is looking for an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance work in Solna, Sweden. This on-site position involves supporting critical infrastructure at premier data center facilities. Key responsibilities include hardware installations, structured cabling, server management, and troubleshooting issues. The ideal candidate has over 2 years of experience in data centers and strong cabling skills. Compensation ranges from kr230-320/hr based on experience, and flexibility in scheduling is available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in raised floor environments.
• Experience with DCIM and ticketing systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.

Skills

Data center infrastructure experience

Cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a)

Server hardware experience (Dell, HP, Supermicro)

Professional communication skills in English

Education

Data center certifications (CDCP, CDCS, or similar)

Network certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+)

Tools
