Job summary

Pangea is partnering with a Nordic-focused investment banking boutique hiring aSenior Investment Banking Analyst or Associate to join its Stockholm team. You will work on M&A and debt-led transactions across energy and infrastructure with high-quality execution and long-term client relationships.

You’ll operate in a lean, entrepreneurial, non-hierarchical environment with early responsibility and exposure across the full transaction lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ deal experience gained in one of the following areas: Big 4 Corporate Finance, IB M&A, leveraged/project finance, debt advisory, or principal investments.
• Infrastructure sector deal experience preferred.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
• Evidence of project management across complex processes and tight deadlines.
• High ownership mentality; proactive and detail-oriented.
• Commercially minded, client-facing communication style.
• Collaborative team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English required.
• Swedish and/or Norwegian language skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support execution across M&A and/or debt transactions (sell-side/buy-side, financing processes, refinancings, structured solutions).
• Build and review financial models (valuation, LBO-style sensitivities where relevant, debt sizing, scenario analysis).
• Prepare marketing and process materials (teasers, IMs, lender packs, management presentations).
• Coordinate workstreams with internal stakeholders and external advisers (legal, accounting, technical, lenders, investors).
• Contribute to market/sector analysis and transaction positioning.
