Job summary

BayInCo Tech is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to bolster its global infrastructure team in Sweden. The role covers design, deployment, security and continuous improvement of enterprise networks, with a focus on modernising and optimising solutions including Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center.

You will work in an international team prioritising reliability, security and automation. Strong knowledge of 802.1X, SD-WAN, MPLS, and enterprise firewalls like FortiGate or Palo Alto is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking or related discipline.
• Professional networking certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent.

We are looking for an experienced Network Engineer to strengthen our global infrastructure team. In this role, you will work across the design, deployment, security and continuous improvement of enterprise network environments.

You will be part of an international team where reliability, security and automation are key priorities. A particular focus will be placed on modernising and optimising network solutions, including Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center, or comparable technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain global wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Ensure high levels of network availability, security and performance
• Configure, manage and optimise network access control and authentication solutions
• Work with technologies such as Cisco ISE and Catalyst Center, or equivalent platforms
• Monitor network environments and proactively identify performance or security issues
• Troubleshoot complex network incidents and contribute to continuous infrastructure improvements
• Support network automation and operational efficiency initiatives
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security and other IT teams on global projects
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Networking or a related discipline
• Professional networking certification such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent
• Strong practical knowledge of:
• Network protocols and enterprise networking
• 802.1X and network authentication
• Network monitoring and automation
• Enterprise firewalls, such as FortiGate or Palo Alto
• SD-WAN and MPLS
• Practical experience working with enterprise-scale network environments

Security & Network Management

We are particularly interested in candidates with a strong understanding of modern network security, including:

• NAC (Network Access Control)
• Firewall architecture and administration
• Zero Trust principles
• Secure wired and wireless access
• Network traffic analysis and troubleshooting

Additional Experience

The following skills would be highly advantageous:

• Enterprise wireless network design, deployment and optimisation
• RF planning, troubleshooting and performance tuning
• 802.11 / 802.1X wireless environments
• Network observability and monitoring using technologies such as:

• NetFlow
• Network logs
