Alstom in Västerås is seeking a full-time Mechanical Integration Engineer to design and integrate mechanical solutions for converters and high-voltage products. You will manage large 3D models and coordinate with electrical design, system design and suppliers.
You will develop mechanical and electrical interfaces, ensure compliance with design standards, and maintain Space Allocation Models (SAM) for interfaces. Fluency in English; Swedish a plus; experience with Catia.

You’ll contribute to the design and development of mechanical solutions for converters and high-voltage products, ensuring structural integrity and optimal performance. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as electrical design, system design and suppliers) and manage complex 3D models to ensure efficient component placement – and much more.
You’ll specifically take care of developing mechanical and electrical interfaces, both internally and with external suppliers, but also ensure compliance with design standards and project requirements.
