Sigma Industry West in Sweden is seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with a strong background in heavy vehicles to join our development team. You will design and develop your technical area as part of a cross-functional group focused on the next generation of trucks.

The role requires at least 8 years in mechanical design, a BSc/MSc in Mechanical Engineering or Product Development, and fluency in Swedish and English.

Qualifications

• Experience with heavy vehicles (Volvo/Scania, etc.)
• BSc or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development
• Good knowledge of both Swedish and English (spoken and written)

Now you have the chance to be part of developing the truck of the future!

We are now looking for you who have at least 8 years of experience in design and want to continue growing in product development within the automotive industry and heavy vehicles!

You will be part of a development team focused on creating the next generation of trucks.

As a designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing your technical area as part of a cross-functional team. You will work closely with team members and other designers responsible for related components. The role also includes participating in concept studies and improvement work as well as communicating with suppliers.

As a person, you are social, a team player, flexible and service-oriented to quickly adapt to customer needs. You have the ambition to constantly develop and take on new challenges.

You need to have drive and commitment!

Experience requirements:

Experience with heavy vehicles, Volvo, Scania, etc.
Mechanical design. At least 8 years

B.Sc or M.Sc in Mechanical Engineering, Product Development.
Good knowledge of both Swedish and English is required, both spoken and written.
