Job summary

Quest Global in Sweden seeks a mechanical design engineer to work on industrial gas turbine components across compressors, combustion, and turbine parts. You will conduct advanced FEA, perform hand calculations, and support development with high-quality analyses and reports.

Requirements include 4–6 years in FEA of turbomachinery, strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, experience with Abaqus, and Swedish language/work eligibility.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of FEA experience in turbomachinery.
• Hands-on Abaqus experience required.
• Strong fundamentals in finite element methods and solid mechanics.
• Experience with gas turbine components is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform static/dynamic, thermal and thermo-mechanical analyses in Abaqus.
• Define contacts, nonlinear analysis, vibration and buckling analyses.
• Write analysis and certification reports for fleet engines.
• Ensure timely and high-quality deliveries for complex development projects.
