Job summary

Höganäs AB invites an Application Development Engineer for the Mechanical segment to shape direction and priorities of application and product development within the MCE division. You will closely collaborate with customers to translate their processes and requirements into actionable development opportunities and product enhancements.

You will bridge customer insights with Höganäs’ technical teams, support new product introductions, optimize existing products, and explore future growth

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of experience in an industrial goods company.
• Engineering or science degree with broad material knowledge.
• Strong data‑driven problem solving and analytical mindset.
• Experience collaborating across diverse geographies and functions.
• Knowledge of project management concepts is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop deep understanding of how our products are used and their impact on customers’ processes and end products.
• Translate user requirements into features and product development needs.
• Develop understanding of products that complement Höganäs offerings in customer recipes.
• Attend seminars, exhibitions, and conferences to stay updated on industry trends.
• Create manuals and conduct training sessions for customers and stakeholders; maintain technical documentation.
• Provide ongoing technical support and resolve issues within the field of expertise.
