Job summary

The British International School of Stockholm is seeking a qualified Maths teacher to deliver a comprehensive curriculum to students from Key Stage 3 through IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. The role requires a fully qualified teacher with UK credentials and English fluency, and candidates must be eligible to work in Sweden.

Qualifications

Fully qualified teacher with UK BEd or PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and IB/IGCSE prep.
Fluent in English (written and spoken).
Eligible to live and work in Sweden.

Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and assess high-quality Maths lessons for Years 7–13.
Collaborate to enhance Maths curricula including IGCSE and IB programmes.
Support IBDP students during Internal Assessment and Extended Essay.
Promote the school’s vision and values and maintain an inclusive learning environment.
Stay up to date with educational research and best practices.
