ValueOne AB is seeking a Master Scheduler in Fagersta, Sweden. The role focuses on coordinating and balancing production plans with demand forecasts to ensure on-time delivery and efficient material flow.

You will work with production, procurement and logistics to align schedules with capacity and KPIs. We expect a degree in engineering or supply chain, at least two years in master planning, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher in engineering, supply chain or related field.
• Minimum two years of master planning/production scheduling experience in manufacturing.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP/planning systems; English fluency required; Swedish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update master production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.

• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks and capacity issues promptly.
• Monitor KPIs related to delivery accuracy, inventory and efficiency.

ValueOne is looking for a Master Scheduler for a client operating within the manufacturing industry in Fagersta. The assignment is set to start as soon as possible and will run for twelve months, with good prospects of transitioning into a permanent position with the client.

About the role

As Master Scheduler, you will be responsible for coordinating and balancing production plans with demand forecasts to ensure efficient material flow and on-time delivery, playing a key role in aligning supply chain activities with overall business objectives.

• Develop, maintain, and update master production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints
• Coordinate closely with production, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of material availability and delivery timelines
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and capacity issues in a timely manner
• Monitor key performance indicators related to delivery precision, inventory levels, and production efficiency
• Analyze demand variations and adjust schedules proactively to minimize disruptions
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support continuous improvement of planning processes
• Ensure schedules comply with company policies, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Provide regular reporting and communication on scheduling status to relevant stakeholders and management

Experience

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in engineering, supply chain management, or a related field, along with minimum two years of experience in master planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills, proficiency in ERP/planning systems (e.g., SAP), and fluency in English are required, while knowledge of Swedish is strongly meritorious.

The successful candidate is a structured and proactive communicator who thrives in cross-functional collaboration, demonstrating strong problem-solving abilities and is used to presenting analysis results and to drive planning discussions.
