• Operating at Managing Director, Partner or senior Director level within Corporate Finance or M&A advisory.
• Demonstrable track record of originating and executing mid-market M&A transactions.
• Strong network of business owners, investors and corporate decision-makers within Sweden.
• Experience within technology, software, tech-enabled services or adjacent sectors would be attractive.
• Background in an established M&A boutique, independent advisory firm or Big Four Corporate Finance practice.

MVA International Headhunters is conducting a confidential search for an experienced Managing Director – Corporate Finance & M&A on behalf of an established international advisory business seeking to expand its presence in Sweden.

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an entrepreneurial M&A professional with a strong track record in originating and executing mid-market transactions, particularly within technology, tech-enabled services and related sectors.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop a growing advisory business, build a team and play a leading role in its long-term development.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an established Corporate Finance professional who combines strong commercial relationships with hands-on transaction experience.

The position offers considerable autonomy to develop the Swedish market, originate new business and build a high-performing advisory team, supported by an established international platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Swedish market.
• Originate and lead mid-market buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions.

Candidate Requirements

• Currently operating at Managing Director, Partner or senior Director level within Corporate Finance or M&A advisory.
• Demonstrable track record of originating and executing mid-market M&A transactions.
• Strong network of business owners, investors and corporate decision-makers within Sweden.
• Experience within technology, software, tech-enabled services or adjacent sectors would be particularly attractive.
• Background in an established M&A boutique, independent advisory firm or Big Four Corporate Finance practice.
