Job summary

Rise Technical seeks a Maintenance Manager from a high voltage/high power background to take full ownership of the maintenance function in Gothenburg, with regional site travel as required.

You will lead a team of maintenance engineers, oversee maintenance on high power assets such as relay protection and switchgear, and drive standards, delivery, and staff development in a permanent, on-site role.

Qualifications

Are you a Maintenance Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or Department Manager from a high voltage / high power background, looking for a role where you can take full ownership of maintenance and build your own team within a major energy services group?

This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position where you will be trusted with total responsibility for the maintenance function, leading a team of maintenance engineers and driving standards across critical electrical assets and high power facilities.

You will be joining a well-established, large-scale organisation delivering maintenance, contracting and consulting services across energy and electrical infrastructure. Due to growth and continued demand across their client base, they are now looking to bring in a proven maintenance leader to strengthen the function.

In this role you will manage planned and reactive maintenance activities, support and develop maintenance engineers, and oversee work on relay protection and switchgear in high power environments. The position is Gothenburg based, with site travel across the region (when required).

This role would suit a Maintenance Manager with high voltage / high power experience looking to lead, build a team, and progress long term towards senior business leadership.

The Role:

• Lead a maintenance department and manage a team of maintenance engineers
• Oversee maintenance on high power / high voltage electrical assets, including relay protection and switchgear
• Office hours, permanent position, Gothenburg based with regional site travel
• Full ownership and responsibility for standards, delivery and team development

The Person:

• Proven maintenance management experience leading maintenance engineers (essential)
• Background in high voltage / high power environments (grid, high power stations, network, refinery or similar)
• Swedish language required
