Job summary

NCC is seeking a Lifting Coordinator to lead lifting operations in Northern Sweden, based in Luleå. You will work with site supervisors, production teams, HSE, contractors, and subcontractors to plan, coordinate, and oversee heavy and light lifts on site.

Responsibilities include lift plan development, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Strong communication in English is required; Swedish is a plus. On-site presence is essential with travel within Sweden possible.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and leading lifting operations in complex environments.
• Experience with mobile cranes, crawler cranes, and other lifting equipment.
• Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication in English (Swedish helpful but not required).
• Ability to review technical drawings and develop lift plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate lifting operations.
• Review and manage drawings and lift plans.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with regulations and internal safety requirements.
• Provide technical expertise and decide on lifting methods and equipment.
• Establish routines for maintenance and inspection of lifting equipment.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections prior to lifting operations.
