Job summary

Arcesium seeks an accomplished Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. You’ll be a coder and technology generalist building the foundation for application developers to leverage with confidence.

You will engineer our Linux compute platform on Kubernetes and AWS, develop Python and Terraform tools, and implement robust, scalable infrastructure while solving business and technology challenges with creative multi-discipline approaches.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant infrastructure experience.
• Proven ownership of Linux, Kubernetes, DNS, Kerberos, and/or AWS IAM.
• Polyglot programming capability; Python with other languages such as Java, Go, Bash.
• Experience running critical workloads on AWS.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.
• Have a valid work permit to work in the country.

Responsibilities

• Engineer our Linux compute platform based on Kubernetes and AWS.
• Engineer our Python and Terraform-based tools and automation.
• Build infrastructure applications, write, and review code as needed.
• Solve problems with a combination of coding and implementation of open source tools.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex systems.
• Leverage design, coding, automation, and implementation skills to meet Arcesium’s needs.
