PIONEER TECHNICAL DEVELOPMENT IN ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING

In the role of an electrical engineer at COWI, you become a part of our global team of experts, working closely with project managers, colleagues, and clients. Your primary responsibility within the team is to perform electrical design in our industrial clients' projects. Often, these projects are multidisciplinary, and you collaborate with other disciplines.

In your daily tasks, you may be involved in:

• Working with investigation, planning, and design in various 3D tools for drawing construction (Aveva E3D, Revit, Autocad).
• Working on pre-studies.
• Conducting calculations.
• Developing technical descriptions.
• Collaborating with colleagues in electrical and automation, as well as other disciplines, to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

To apply for this position, you need to:

• Be a qualified electrical engineer at a minimum of high school level with a focus on electrical engineering/electricity.
• Have at least 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably from another consulting engineering company, where you've worked with CAD-based programs.
• Be fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Be passionate about 3D design and inclined for order, structure, and problem-solving.

We often work in project groups with total commitments covering all our technical areas. Most of our clients are in the refining/petrochemical, automotive, and municipal energy companies, as well as infrastructure. We also have extensive collaboration between our locations in Karlstad and Stenungsund.
