Job summary

SSAB Europe is seeking an LCA specialist to support its sustainability agenda by creating, updating and developing LCA models for its product portfolio. You will work closely with the sustainability team, production, business development and R&D to deliver accurate LCA calculations for current and future products.

The role is hybrid with three days a week in the office and the option to work partly remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience in LCA modeling and calculation using LCA software.
• University degree in environmental engineering.
• Analytical with data modelling skills.
• Experience from industrial, corporate, or consulting context is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support SSAB Europe’s sustainability agenda.
• Collect production data for LCA calculation.
• Create and develop LCA models for SSAB Europe’s products.
• Calculate product LCA values for EPDs, PCF or strategy needs.
• Evaluate raw material supplier LCA data.
• Support other sustainability data initiatives such as Digital Product Passport.
