Position Overview

SAAB is a global leader in defence and security technology. They develop advanced solutions and products to create a safer future. We are currently looking for a dedicated and meticulous circuit board assembler for SAAB’s production unit in Järfälla.

Responsibilities

• Assembly of circuit boards according to drawings and specifications.
• Hand soldering of components on the circuit boards.
• Optical inspection and quality control of assembled units.
• Troubleshooting and correcting any defects.
• Documentation of work processes and quality checks.

Qualifications

• Technical education or experience in assembly, or another relevant practical background.
• Swedish citizenship.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in circuit board manufacturing and/or soldering of electronic components.
• Knowledge of IPC standards (IPC‑A‑610 and/or J‑STD‑001).
• Technical education in electronics.
• Previous experience as an assembler.

Additional Requirements

Working in the defence industry requires that the position is subject to security clearance procedures. Positions where SAAB requires a security classification may, where applicable, bring requirements for specific citizenship.
