Job summary

Kreditz is a fast-growing fintech in Stockholm area focused on real-time credit scoring and risk assessment. A Junior Data Scientist will transform Open Banking transaction data into high-precision credit risk, affordability, and fraud insights, working with ML Engineers and Senior Data Scientists.

The role emphasizes feature engineering, model development, evaluation, and collaboration with product and risk teams to enable automated lending decisions across European markets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field.
• 0–2 years of experience with Python and SQL for data analysis.
• Strong grounding in statistics and supervised learning concepts.
• Experience communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Perform exploratory and granular data analysis on Open Banking datasets.
• Design and document domain-specific features for risk scoring and fraud detection.
• Train, validate, and benchmark supervised learning models with cross-validation.
• Investigate model behavior and data drift across markets.
• Collaborate with ML Engineers to productionize modeling pipelines.
• Translate findings into dashboards and presentations for stakeholders.
